Experience what happens in people’s lives when they discover God and develop a closer relationship with the Lord through the study of His Word! Each registered CBS class participant receives a course book with home study questions and Bible scholar-commentary with each lesson. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching by our Teaching and Assistant Teaching Directors.
Our CHARLESTON CBS class will be accepting registrations SOON for the FALL 2026- SPRING 2027 study.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN: GENESIS AND JOSHUA
Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to me of the biggest questions we have today: Is there a God? If so, what is He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why are we here, and where can we find purpose and hope? In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion and presents the beginnings of God's plan to put everything back together.
The book of Joshua picks up where Deuteronomy leaves off. After leading the Israelites out of Egypt and through 40 years of wanderings in the wilderness, Moses died. But God remained faithful to His promise. He appointed Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, where they would at last find rest in a place of their own.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, puppets and games, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.
